From the Pastor’s Desk October 2021

Inspirational Thoughts

I love it when scriptures and quotes seem to say exactly what I need to hear. I decided to include some of the scriptures and quotes that inspire me the most. I rely on some of them on a daily basis and use others during times of reflection and meditation. Here are some I like:

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. -Philippians 4:13
The will of God will not take you where the grace of God cannot keep you. Relish what you have rather than resent what you’re missing. -Hebrews 13:5
For His love is sufficient for all our needs. -Psalm 7:10
Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you. -Psalm 55:22
Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart are also. -Matthew 6:21
Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. -Ephesians 4:32
This is the day which the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. –
Psalm 118:24
The fruit of the spirit is love, joy and peace. – Galatians 5:22
Love is patient, love is kind, Love does not insist on its own way. Love bears all things, believes all things, Hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. –
I Corinthians 13:4-8
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.- 1 John 4:7-8
For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.-
John 3:16-17

Life can be difficult at times, God does not promise us a life without troubles but He does promise us that He will see us through all things. Be open to what God might be trying to put on your heart through His word. When times are challenging, reflect and rely on the power of His truth.

Blessings,
Pastor Kurt
