Approval of Agenda:
Add, talk about council retreat and mutual ministry/personal committee. Motion to approve Scott and Janet. Approved.
- Introduction of council members
Each council member spoke a little about themselves.
- Consent Agenda:
- Approval of the 2025 February council meeting minutes
- Add Matt Anderson was present. Motion by Sandy, 2nd by Gretchen to approve. Motion carried.
- Financial Report
- Ending checkbook balance is $79,328.69
- $10,000 from a single donor was given in February.
- Approval of corrected financial report: Motion by Scott, 2nd by Gretchen. Motion carried.

- Internet cable to Audio/Sound equipment in Balcony Bid
A motion to use undesignated memorial money to pay the $1,750 estimate to install internet cable to the balcony. Sandy motioned, Scott seconded. Motion carried.
- Wireless receiver and mic w/ lapel from Sim Sound
Wireless receiver and mic ordered.
- Retreat
We discussed having a retreat and inviting church staff. Motion to hold a council retreat on Sunday, June 1st, 11 am. Sandy Motioned, Janet 2nd. Motion carried.
- Any New Business
- Adding a mutual ministry/personal committee
- Duties would include reviewing staff and reviewing salaries.
- If there are issues, the staff can go to the committee.
- It is a private committee.
A motion to reissue the mutual ministry and for the executive committee to serve on it. Motioned by Sandy, 2nd by Gretchen. Motion Carried.
- Janet spoke that several people came to her that Sandy Strozyk should receive recognition for volunteering her time as Financial Secretary in the past year. We recognize all that Sandy has done for this church.
- Pastor’s Report
Pastor is pleased with the Lenten services.
Confirmation students will start doing their expressions of faith in April.
- Children/Youth Directors Report
Written report was given and reviewed by Josh Krage.
Janet discussed a youth committee project to help an elderly person with yard work and clean up.
