1. Election of Officers:
a. President – Paul Hemenway

2. Consent Agenda:
a. Approval of January meeting minutes – Stephanie approved, Mary Beth (second) b. Approval or Congregational Annual Meeting minutes (1/28/24) – Approval moved to March meeting after Vicky confirms some 2023 Annual Budget numbers
3. Financial Report
● Vicky updated the Council on where the 2023 Budget ended up and January’s new amounts.
● At the March Council meeting Council will discuss options to raise funds for the church.

5 New Business
• Josh approved and Matt second, Removing David Kiehne from the Greenfield Lutheran Church Line of Credit Agreement to establish and to advance funds as of 2/14/24 council date.
• Beginning 2/14/24 – Mary Beth Approved and Josh Second, to Add Vicky Tribon as a signer to the Greenfield Lutheran Church Line of Credit Agreement – to establish Credit and advance the line of credit. Sandy Strozyk will also remain.
• Have the Youth and Piano/Organ monies move from the First SE Memorial savings from endowment to general fund to be use for youth activities and purchasing a piano/organ bench. Motion by Stephanie Morse, Seconded by Josh Krage. Motion carried
• 2024 Lenten Services and Meals – Starting Feb. 21st through March 20th.
• Meal before service (starting at 5:30)

• Council working to confirm job descriptions of Custodial and Finance Secretary
• Mindy identifying work done each day and how long that work takes
• Altar Guild and Mowing volunteers coming forward
• Paul and Sandy working to identify Finance Secretary work and timing ○ Kris meeting with IT Expert to discuss Computer and email options – will report back for March Council meeting
6. Children, Youth, & Family Director Report –
a. Josh Krage states that the youth are going to give the entire Church Service on 04/21/24. The theme for the service will be Noah’s Ark.
b. Josh also shared that the Faith Factory Students have started a children’s offering during Sunday School. Any loose change brought in by the youth can be donated in a jar and will be distributed into the youth fund.
7. Pastor’s Report –
a. Pastor Bockoven shared that he had a request come across his desk for area churches to help donate to the Veterans In Need Program. Josh Krage has offered to take on brainstorming ideas for raising money for this event and we will discuss at the meeting in March.
